  15. As for environment variables, you don't *have* to have *any*
  16. environment variables set. Really. I know, because I don't :-)
  17. This is modulo bugs, of course -- but if your files are in
  18. the places specified by the default paths, you don't neeed
  19. environment variables.

  22. stuff and we get to add another layer of confusion!
